Inspired by the Japanese artist Hokusai, Van Gogh started drawing using dots, dashes,hatching and short lines. Nanga, Japanese ink paintings in the Chinese tradition, are also characterised by a wide variety of hatching and lines, and Van Gogh was also inspired by these works.

【京都行】在街頭櫥窗裡看到兩次葛飾北齋著名的浮世繪作品，《富嶽三十六景》中的「神奈川沖浪裏」，一次印在T恤上，一次是絹印，與我的攝影作品「飛濺」居然有幾分相似。明天去美國教拳三週，回來再見。預告：7/20台中藝博會，我有幾幅參展作品，藝星畫廊代理。
