老鼠 Magawa 獲一個英國動物權益組織頒發 PDSA 英勇金牌，表揚牠多年協助掃雷的功勞。
Magawa 只需要半小時，就可透過嗅覺偵測到一個網球場大小的地方有沒有地雷，人類要用4天才可做到。
這個英勇金牌是表揚執行任務的動物，之前獲獎的多是犬隻，這是首次有老鼠獲獎。

去年11月，我和灣聲樂團合作《日本哥吉拉》音樂會，製作人潘鳳珠女士特邀王太太出席，其中提到日本歌謠時，就提到了著名童謠〈靴が鳴る〉，因為台灣孩子一定熟悉改成中文的「老鼠捧茶請人客」，歌詞中那三句「黑茶茶，滋奶茶，老鼠捧茶請人客」，很多孩子都能琅琅上口，王禎和也用了「老鼠捧茶請人客」為名寫成小說，並由青睞影視搬電視。那天，沒能和王太太多聊，只是簡單又提起了這段筆墨情緣，今天，就在王禎和逝世30週年的時刻，重整舊文，聊表追思。

拇指姑娘在冬天的森林裡又餓又累時，遇到了一隻田鼠婆婆收留她。但不久之後，田鼠婆婆卻要拇指姑娘嫁給鼴鼠以報答救命之恩，而婚禮即將在春天最後的冰雪消溶之後舉行。

早在2016年，巴黎市政府就注意到公共場所的老鼠越來越多，《費加洛報》（Le Figaro）引用都市衛生專家法蓋哈克（Pierre Falgayrac）的估計，市內至少有380萬隻老鼠，比居民人口還多。但時隔一年多，老鼠的數量應在持續增加中。
#巴黎過去幾年一直深受鼠患困擾，水位上漲可能把老鼠從巢穴中逼出，嚙齒動物習性顧問法爾加利亞克表示，巴黎市民要做好心理準備，將會見到更多老鼠出沒在大街小巷，牠們可能更加頻繁出沒於地下室、排水道等陰濕之處。
中央社引述自法爾加利亞克，巴黎平均每人家裡有1.75隻老鼠，這一數字在大城市算是普遍，老鼠60%-75%的時間都在自己的洞穴中度過，只有覓食與水的時候才會外出。
